This topic is a location for posting items indicating your work and interests and how this forum might help you. In time, it is hoped that we shall gather enough interests to make a submission to the CIEHF for the creation of a Special Interest Group.

Hi Mike. Well, you really know how to pick 'em. I would like to join your discussion as I am sure that modelling of human dynamics, physical and mental. I am strong believer that any dynamic situation can be modelled to some extent. R&D in this area would bring great benefits to the general HF input to engineering design. However, unfortunately, I am officially no longer a member of CIEHF as I haven't renewed my subscription. Best wishes - Ian (

Mike
I would be interested in joining the chat at conference. I am quite sceptical about the realities of modelling but would like to hear the discussion. I don’t really want to create an account for the online forum, which I think you need to leave a response. See you in April.

This paper addresses a technique for modelling human performance in suppervisory systems at an early stage of the development process. It was delivered to the CIEHF Annual Conference in 2023.

Dear Dr. Mike Tanish,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Violet (Phuong Anh Nguyen), I am a PhD candidate in the Human Factors Research Group at the University of Nottingham. My research focuses on the use of personas in transport policymaking. Specifically, I am exploring how data can be utilized to understand the impact of policies on the transport system and various community groups, supporting informed decision-making, and I plan to develop a system dynamic model. It's glad to see that we share the research interest.
Unfortunately, I am unable to attend the conference event on Monday due to training commitments at my university. However, I hope there will be another opportunity to connect and discuss your research in this area. I look forward to reading your work on this topic.
Best regards,
Violet
